The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention noted an increase in the number of preschoolers with cavities in a study five years ago. This increase, the first in 40 years, brings up a question of why? Although there are no studies linking bottled water and an increase in cavities, bottled water may not have the fluoride that tap water contains, and children may not be getting the fluoride needed to keep their teeth healthy.
